These handmade bee earrings are created with sterling silver, genuine garnet and fossilized mammoth ivory. Dangle earrings are 1 1/2 inch high and 7/8 inch wide and come with a pair of clear rubber earring stopper for the ear wires. Now extinct, the Mammoth roamed the earth until about 15,000 years ago. Mammoth ivory is usually found by gold miners in Alaska and Canada. This material is legal to carve and own. Care: Due to the natural state of the ivory, use only a jewelry cleaning cloth to polish any metal. Do not use jewelry cleaners, chemicals, soaps, or detergents. Avoid extreme heat, moisture, and soaking.
